A Thought Cellar is the place in every writer’s head that stores the things they can’t throw away, but don’t always want to look at. There are certain stories, experiences, and emotions that some writers just can’t escape. They keep them here.
This is a place for independent artists to publish the work that they can’t not write (double negative intended). Each post features a small ask — a $1 donation straight to the artist’s PayPal account for anyone who enjoyed the work enough to help sustain the artist.
The ads on the site help pay for the costs of web-hosting and any advertising that brings more readers to the site. We’ve intentionally made these ads small and non-intrusive, so as not to interrupt the reading experience. While small donations can be a big ask for your average reader, we think sharing the work of these artists is just as meaningful and just as helpful. If you can’t donate or don’t feel compelled to, we encourage you to give others the opportunity to decide for themselves.
